For the 2024 PuppyPi, the documented startup sequence is:
- Power the robot off and place it lying on a flat surface. Do not manually move the servos.
- Set the expansion-board switch to
OFF, verify the battery connector is red-to-red and black-to-black, disconnect the charger, then switch the board to ON.
- The rear display shows the battery voltage. The guide says charging is needed below 6.8 V, so the displayed 8.00 V is above that low-voltage threshold.
- Initially,
LED1 and LED2 may show faint blue light. After a short time, LED1 should remain on and LED2 should flash every two seconds. A buzzer beep indicates that ROS configuration and startup are complete.
- The factory default is AP direct mode. After successful startup, the robot should create a Wi-Fi hotspot whose name begins with
HW.
Because you waited 30 minutes without LED2 flashing or an HW hotspot appearing, the documented boot sequence has not completed. If this still happens with the confirmed 2024 image, please provide a clear startup photo or video showing LED1, LED2, and the rear display, together with the exact image filename and flashing result. The current symptom alone is not enough to conclude that the hardware is defective.

Im flashing the sd card for the 3rd time now. also i had made the pdf explaining what i did but i guess you cant upload it here.

When can I expect the help? I’ve already reached out hiwonder support on email, they said to go for the forums. I think the puppypi bot it fine it’s just that there’s something wrong with imaging
